富士山と河口湖とホテル風鈴

  Aside from Hokkaido, various regions in Japan are experiencing the rainy season, and the area around Mt. Fuji is currently entering the rainy season as well. Although it's a season of continuous rain, during the sunny intervals, you can see almost summer-colored Mt. Fuji from the hotel. Its appearance is different from the snow-covered winter version, gives us the impression of sturdiness. On the 1st of July, the climbing season of Mt. Fuji will begin. And this area, the foot of Mt. Fuji will become even more buz zing with many people aiming for the summit.

  Oishi Park, which is about 5 minutes’ drive from our hotel, is a popular tourists' attraction at Lake Kawaguchi. Here, you can enjoy the stunning views of Mt. Fuji together with seasonal flowers. When I visited there recently, I was still able to enjoy the lovely nemophila. Lavender season will start soon! It is from mid-June and lasts about a month. There are also cafe and a shop selling a lot of Mt. Fuji souvenir!
